What I found easy about basic map skills was that cardinal directions.I found this easy because I had already learned about cardinal directions so I already knew about it.The most challenging basic map skill for me was lattitude and longitude.This was difficult for me because I've never learned about these before so I got confused.It made it more difficult because some of the maps were complicated.Basic map skills are necessary because you can understand maps more along with direction and is a good skill to have if you are lost.It helps you understand geography better because you can read maps know where things are and can understand mountain ranges and other important geographical places.
This post was very informative, I agree that latitude and longitude is hard to understand and quite easy to confuse.

ReplyDeleteI agree that cardinal directions is the easiest theme. I to think that latitude is the the most difficult of the 5 themes. I agreed with all of your posts information.
