5 Themes of Geography

Analyzing the world with the five themes of geography helps people understand connections because the five themes that movement can spread ideas and the other themes connect because people are interacting with other people and their environment.I think the most difficult theme to understand is region.I think this because you can confuse this with location and place because place is what its like at the place and region the characteristics of a place.

Basic Map Reflection

What I found easy about basic map skills was that cardinal directions.I found this easy because I had already learned about cardinal directions so I already knew about it.The most challenging  basic map skill for me was lattitude and longitude.This was difficult for me because I've never learned about these before so I got confused.It made it more difficult because some of the maps were complicated.Basic map skills are necessary because you can understand maps more along with direction and is a good skill to have if you are lost.It helps you understand geography better because you can read maps know where things are and can understand mountain ranges and other important geographical places.
